Dr. R. Scott Stinson
Dr. Stinson specializes in family practice, and is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Indiana and his medical degree at Ross University. He started post graduate studies with a highly competitive position as a transitional resident at Tucson Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona. He went on to specialize in family practice through residency as Chief Resident at Hidalgo Medical Center in Silver City, New Mexico, finishing at Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Dr. Stinson is a family medicine practitioner offering comprehensive healthcare to Georgia’s Lake Country. With extensive experience treating complex patients and critical care in the hospital setting, he brings a solid medical foundation to private practice. Dr. Stinson specializes in complete medical care including treatment for both chronic conditions and acute illnesses. He also continues his passion for critical care, serving as an inpatient hospitalist at Putnam General Hospital.
Moving to Lake Country in 2014, Dr. Stinson resides locally with his wife and family of four dogs.
Paula K. Rossee, Physician Assistant
Paula has more than 30 years of experience as a physician assistant. She did her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, then graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physician assistant program from the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta.
Paula has practiced in Primary care for most of her career taking care of a wide range of problems from chronic issues such as diabetes, hypertension and hyperlipidemia to acute problems like bronchitis, skin infections, sinusitis and muscle strains.
In her time away from Stinson Family Practice, Paula enjoys traveling with her husband and 3 kids, spending time at the beach and is an avid reader of mystery novels.
